BIOGRAPHY

Hélder Entrudo, musician, pianist, pedagogue, composer, and piano teacher, was born in 1969 in Portkembla, Australia. He began his musical studies at the Maria Campina Algarve Regional Conservatory (CRAMC) in Faro, where he enrolled in Professor Daniela Bogdanova’s piano class, completing the course with a 20/20 score. Later, at the Lisbon School of Music (ESML), he continued his piano and musical studies, completing the higher studies in piano with Professors Miguel Henriques and Tânia Achot.

Alongside his solo piano activy and chamber music ensembles, he cultivates a special
interest in music and piano teaching, didactics and pedagogy. He develops an intense
pedagogical activity, thus contributing to the development of successive generations of young pianists. In this context, he has numerous students who have won awards in major national and international piano competitions. He has been a piano professor at the Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional (EAMCN) since 1999 and also at the Academia de Música de Santa Cecília (AMSC).

He has also published several works as a composer, including the pedagogical work “O Jardim Vol. I.”
