Young Pianists in Celebration at Casa da Música Mark the End of This Edition

For the first time, the junior category of the Santa Cecília International Competition — for pianists up to 18 years old — concluded its edition with a special Laureates’ Concert at Casa da Música in Porto. Held on Saturday, July 19, the concert featured the award-winning young pianists, including several ex aequo prizes that reflect the high level and spirit of mutual recognition among participants.

More than a competition, this category is a celebration of piano music — as captured in the performances, shared moments and smiles that can be revisited in our photo gallery.

The international jury included Luís Costa (Portugal), president, alongside Ilaria Loatelli (Italy), Jeongro Park (South Korea), João Costa Ferreira (Portugal), Lei Meng (China), Lovre Marušić (Croatia), Margaux Anseeuw (Belgium) and Sanna Vaarni (Finland).
