BIOGRAPHY

She later studied with François Joël Thiollier and Marisa Somma. She was awarded in several national and international competitions and performs numerous concerts, both solo and in duo with her husband  Maurizio Matarrese holding concerts in prestigious locations in Italy and abroad (Milan, Cosenza, Bari, Matera, Ravello, Salerno, Udine, Trieste, Turin, Bad Woerrishofen, Berlin, Bacau, Seville etc.). Everywhere offering interesting and unconventional programs as the “Four Temperaments” for  piano and orchestra by Hindemith, “Evangelion” by Castelnuovo Tedesco, the  piano works by Clara Wieck Schumann, 6 Brandenburg Concertos of Bach- Reger,  the complete works for two pianos by Debussy, etc…

Regularly invited to be part of commissions of national and international piano competitions, she is artistic director of the International Piano Competition “City of Casamassima ” and the International Piano Competition “City of Acquaviva delle Fonti ” Premio Giovanni Colafemmina.

She is  Professor of piano at the Conservatory “N. Piccini” in Bari.
